Product Detail
Drainage Channel Covers
Covers for linear (slot) drainage channels in yards, roads, car parks and industrial sites. The cast iron grating panels are produced in our own factory; complete channel systems — resin-concrete channel bodies with grating or stainless slot covers — are supplied through our partner factories and checked by Hongcheng.
Load classes B125 / C250 / D400 / E600 are load-class designations: the number is the class test load in kilonewtons (for example D400 = 400 kN test load). It is not a maximum vehicle weight — choose the class by where the product will be installed, and ask us if unsure.

Covers & Channels
Two Parts: the Channel and Its Cover
A linear drain has two parts: the channel body that carries the water, and the cover that takes the load and lets water in. Our cast iron covers are single grating panels cast in our own factory — you order them by the channel's clear width and the load class of the surface above.
Complete channel systems pair resin-concrete channel bodies with cast iron, steel grating or stainless slot covers. The channel bodies and stainless slot covers are produced by partner factories we work with, and are checked by Hongcheng before dispatch — we do not present them as our own casting.
- ✓Cast iron grating panels cast in our own factory

Questions
Drainage Channel Covers — FAQ
How do I size a channel cover?
Measure the clear width of your channel (the inside opening the cover must span) and tell us the surface load — footway, cars or trucks. Our cast iron panels run from 200×500 to 400×600; we match panel width and thickness to your channel.
Can I buy covers only, without channel bodies?
Yes. Cast iron grating panels and steel grating covers are supplied on their own for existing channels. Send the channel width, a photo and the quantity.
What is a stainless slot cover?
A narrow slotted stainless cover that sits almost invisibly in paved surfaces — the drainage line shows as a thin slot. It is supplied as part of a channel system through our partner factories.
Which load class should the cover be?
Match the cover to the traffic above it: B125 for footways, C250 for kerbside, D400 for carriageways, E600 for heavy-duty areas. Tell us the location and we will confirm.
What should I include in my inquiry?
Channel clear width, cover type, load class, total length or quantity, and your destination country (and port, if known).
