Ductile Iron Gully Gratings
Frame-and-grating sets for roadside gullies and drainage inlets, cast in ductile iron in our own factory. The grating sits hinged in its frame, so it can be lifted for cleaning without breaking the surrounding pavement edge.
Load classes B125 / C250 / D400 / E600 are load-class designations: the number is the class test load in kilonewtons (for example D400 = 400 kN test load). It is not a maximum vehicle weight — choose the class by where the product will be installed, and ask us if unsure.

Material & Structure
Frame and Grating, Cast as a Set
Each set is cast in ductile iron as a matched frame and grating. The grating's elongated slots give a large open area for storm water, and the ribbed underside keeps the grating stiff under wheel loads.
The grating is hinged to the frame on one side: road crews can open it for cleaning and it cannot be separated from the frame and lost or stolen as easily as a loose grating.

Gully sets are stacked and strapped on pallets at our Dongguan yard, as shown in the photos on this page, ready for forklift handling and loading. The final packing arrangement and transport plan are confirmed with you per order, as part of the quotation.

Gully Gratings — FAQ
What size should I order?
Send us the size marked on your existing grating or the size of the inlet opening, plus a photo if you have one. Our common sizes are 300×500, 400×600, 400×700 and 450×750; we match the set to your inlet before quoting.
Which load class do I need?
Kerbside gullies on ordinary roads are usually D400; footway and yard inlets can be lighter (B125 / C250); heavy-duty areas may need E600. Tell us where the grating will sit and we will confirm the class with you.
What is the difference between a gully grating and a manhole cover?
A gully grating is slotted — it lets storm water into the drainage inlet. A manhole cover is solid — it closes an access chamber. Both are cast in ductile iron in our factory.
Do you supply double gully units?
Yes — double sets at 450×1500 and a spring-lock type at 500×750 are within the range, alongside the standard single sets.
What should I include in my inquiry?
Product name, size, load class, quantity and your destination country (and port, if known). A photo or drawing of the existing inlet helps us match the specification exactly.
